I am thrilled to invite Adrian Cox to the Club straight after the launch of his new album at Ronnie Scotts! Adrian is not only a sensational player but a very entertaining frontman. This is the perfect music to ease us into the Regatta mood, with his world class band. I just feel immediately elated when I hear them play! You will not be disappointed! Rumour has it Denny Illett will join the group on guitar!

Adrian brings his fabulous Quartet to play a selection of standards inspired by the great clarinettists of New Orleans Barney Bigard, Sidney Bechet and Edmond Hall plus some of the original music from his new acclaimed album “Clarinet Fantasy”. Adrian, aged 40 is a musician at the top of his game and is a leading exponent in the New Orleans idiom with his rich knowledge of the history of the city and its most recognised clarinet figures. As a performer, Adrian has the ability to engage with his audience with an unrivalled feel for the music which, combined with his virtuosic technique, has led to concerts with the biggest names in jazz including two concerts with Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra both in London and New York. Adrian spends the majority of his life on tour around the world and at the time of writing this, has performed in over 30 countries in the past 18 months.
