We are very excited to have our very own Frank Sinatra in the club! Shane Hampsheir is recognised as one of the most talented swing and jazz singers in the UK. He is an amazing showman with a velvety romantic delivery closely reminiscent of Frank and between and often during songs he has all the fun and charm of all the rat pack put together. Purdy joins Shane on stage for this performance and together they make quite the double act!
Having recently launched his new Album on the Clare Teal Show on BBC Radio 2, Shane is making waves in the World of Swing. Asked by Universal Records to record Michael Bublé’s hit single ‘Home’ for the compilation album ‘You Raise Me Up, the recording was re-released as the title track on a double CD featuring such artists as Katherine Jenkins, Hayley Westenra, Russell Watson, Louis Armstrong, Boyzone, Lesley Garrett, Girls Aloud, Jamie Cullum and many more. Since then, Shane’s version of ‘Home’ has appeared on 6 top 10 albums World-wide, with more of the biggest stars in the music world.
ABOUT SHANE
Over the passed year, Shane regularly performs in London’s most prestigious jazz clubs such as Ronnie Scott's, 606 Club & Dean Street Pizza Express, in his own right. He also performs with the Ronnie Scott’s Big Band - Syd Lawrence Orchestra, Peter Long Orchestra, Nick Ross Orchestra, The Debbie Curtis Radio Big Band, The Len Phillips Big Band and tours with his very own big band and swing band.
Shane made his New York debut in June 2016 at the famous 'Metropolitan Room' in Manhattan. In March 2017, Shane released his own debut big band album featuring the UK's top jazz musicians and showcasing arrangements by composer and master arranger, Evan Jolly. Shane recorded songs such as, 'I Put a Spell on You', 'Hallelujah, I Love Her So' and 'Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps' as well as original compositions, 'By Your Side', 'Take Your Chances', 'Cried Away', 'My Lover's Heart' and 'Save Yourself'.

SET-UP
Tickets are all seated, seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. However, for parties of 7 of more, we can reserve seats to ensure you are on the same table. Please email mail@purdymusic.co.uk to request this after booking and we will do our best to accommodate.
We will be serving drinks from the bar, which will also well stocked with prosecco, wine, beer and soft drinks.
